Head of Sustainability

We are thrilled to announce that our long-standing Sladen family member Karina Leyser Cordeiro has joined us in a permanent role as Sladen Consulting's Head of Sustainability.

Karina’s role will enhance our focus and drive on two things: 1. Strengthen our bench of internal fabulous facilitators, and 2. Be the guardian of our B Corporation endeavours and leadership of the Sladen Butterfly Fund. She brings with her deep expertise in the work she does along with a creative approach.

Puzzled by the informal picture?! We like to tell a story behind our family members and Karina has a love for jigsaw puzzles! As she says…“This comes from a strong belief that we have the ability to handle all situations coming our way even when they seem messy – with patience, vision and a little organisation we can put pieces together and build something beautiful in the end”.

We look forward to creating beautiful things with you Karina! Welcome to the family.

The importance of roots

What is the metaphor that comes to your mind when you are thinking about resilience and building strong relationships to the people around you that you care about most?

Meet Umair!

Umair has joined Sladen Consulting in our busy HUB as an apprentice accountant. He is studying for the AAT Accounting qualifications and is already proving to be a very welcome and helpful addition to the Sladen office. We are supporting Umair through his formal training and are thrilled to be able to provide this training opportunity to this ambitious young man.

He is getting used to the Sladen Way! Bringing his boxing gloves to work for the virtual photo call with brilliant Anne Thomas – Personal Brand Photographer didn’t phase him! We like to show the story behind our Sladen Family and you can find out more about Umair’s story and the rest of our crew here.

Global connections!

Boom! Where did that energy come from? Living so often in the hybrid and virtual world it’s wonderful to be reminded of the invisible connection, spark and energy that is created when face to face.

We were reminded of this when Sladen Family members from Germany, Italy, France and the UK met in one space at the same time this week. Although we are small, we have associates based all around the world, we are truly multi-cultural and speak 20 languages – did you know we had this global reach?

Heading in the same direction?

A lighthouse. A warning from danger, or a steady and secure guiding light?

How do you know that your team are all heading in the same direction? We hope you enjoy Richard Colley‘s latest video from the high seas!
