Silke Irmscher
Since my childhood, my life has been shaped by change. Born in former East-Germany, I experienced the 180° turn of my home culture from a socialistic system to a free market economy as teenager. Later as a young adult and driven by a big curiosity for the world, I traveled across the globe to explore the many colors of mankind and nature.
Since then, I live a life between worlds: Between my homes in Germany and Indonesia, where I finally settled. Between the international business world that I serve and my rural neighborhood amid the rice fields in an Indonesian village. Between professional life and being the mother of a multicultural family.
Today, I live in Jogjakarta with my Indonesian husband Riyanto and raise our two daughters in four languages and with the heritage of at least three different cultures.
Thanks to all these experiences, I understand well about dealing with change, diversity and translating perspectives – skills that I help people develop in global business.
I do this by designing creative, high-quality learning experiences that I deliver through training and coaching.
I work with individuals and teams coming from various industries at different management levels, from fresh-graduate to CEO.
