Adam Woodroffe

Central to my work is the idea first offered by Susan Scott in her book Fierce Conversations that ‘leadership happens one conversation at time’.
I support individuals, teams and organisations who would like some help with having important conversations about change. I work with people just beginning to lead, through to those at the top of large organisations. I work with individuals and with teams. The kinds of leadership challenges I help people with include preparing for job/promotion interviews, making presentations, having tough, performance conversations, developing personal impact, negotiation skills and influencing others to bring about change.
My approach to work acknowledges and cites some of the very helpful leadership theory which is available, and combines this with pragmatic approaches, designed to allow people to ‘try the theory on for size’. Through a process of coaching and experimentation, I help people develop mindsets, strategies and behaviours which feel right for that individual, in that context.
I have a love of good coffee and barbecued food.
